My hubby gets them and I have him sit in the lazy boy and recline while I put relaxing music on. Then I get a bowl of hot water and a bowl with cold water and take a wet wash cloth and take turns dipping it in the hot and cold water and placing the cloth over his entire head in our living room with all the shades drawn. Then while praying for him I massage with my fingertips into the top and base of his head as well as his neck. Once the washcloth has lost the original temp (cold or hot, depending on which bowls turn it was) then I keep the cloth there and ake this eucalyptus and peppermint lotion from bath and body works and I rub it into his neck, sides of his neck and tops of shoulders and shoulder blades. So between the peaceful music, dim/darky lit room, praying, massaging, the smell of the essential oils lotion ad the old fashion trick of using cold and hot cloths to reduce inflammation/swelling, I believe it is why it works! :) in fact just finished up and I an hear him softly sleeping right now in the chair while i do more research on migraines! Always remember the power of prayer is the most important step! God bless!
